I'm Jordi Urios Llorens. I live in Granada where I develop things.

At the age of 15, I installed a Linux distribution on my computer and I realized how fun I could have just messing around with all the chances a Linux distribution can offer you. I started with short bash scripts, writing some Howtos in Linux communities and later creating more complex programs. By that time, I was sure that computers, specially programming, would become in my hobby and, why not, my career. For that reason, I decided to study a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics Engineering in the Polytechnic University of Valencia.

At the university, I focused and attended to different courses and subjects related on the web development, integrations, APIs and backend development, specially during the last year. During the studies I worked as intern in different companies doing task related on programming and/or devOps. I had the chance to work in different languages (C, C++, PHP, NodeJS among others) and working on demanding projects like our own PHP microservices framework.

Once finished my studies, I have been working as a freelance developer and as employed in different companies as well. I have developed an amount of web management tools for companies, IoT projects, APIs RESTful and integrations using good practices, TDD, agile development, design patterns, continuous integration and continuous deployment.

I consider myself a demanding person, eager to learn new technologies and languages in order to have a good background when I have to make a decision and try to solve a problem using always the most suitable and affordable solution.
